DESKey2 Property

This is the property that you set for the Key 2 for Cryptocx to use when any 3DES (Triple DES) method is run that requires a 3 Keys.

Description

Specifies the 3DES Key2 to use when encrypting or decrypting.

Syntax

object.DESKey2 [= key ]

The syntax of the DESKey2 property has these parts:

object A Cryptocx v7 control.

key A string expression that specifies the key to use.

Default

"" (empty string)

Remarks

The DESKey2 property is used by Triple DES Methods.

You should use Cryptocx generated DES keys as this ensure the full 56 bit key length is used.
